The following is a report received this morning from a Central Florida Vet. It sounds almost unbelievable until you realize it's the VA we're talking abount and then ANYTHING is believable.

As you know I have been writing letter to the Governor, VA Administration and various news people, about the abuse I endure in Central Florida as a Veteran.

I no longer will go to a VA. That means I buy my own medications, which are quite expensive. I don't want to give any more support to such a corrupt organization. They cared nothing about my life---at all!

One VA doctor (thinking of medication I needed) order Aldactone, which is a potassium sparing diuretic for me. But at the same time, she also ordered a potassium supplement.

Do you know what prisoners for murder are killed with in the death penalty? You don't give potassium with Aldactone , because it causes a rise in blood potassium levels, and will cause arrythmias of your heart, and death.

I went to an outside doctor in Orlando, and he told me this, and immediately took me off the potassium, and my heart corrected itself. For over 6 months, I complained of various problems, and all I got was pills pushed at me.

Check the compatibility of all of your medications, and NEVER, trust a VA hospital Government Run facility. I very well could have died, and who would have cared, or been made responsible for a Goverment Doctors malpractice behavior?

Senator Bill Nelson of Orlando, documented, and was witness to all my abusive/neglectful care.

Please tell other vets, about me, and my lack of care. Government VA doctors, put on a good front that they are the best doctors---no they are not. They are doctors who could not make it in the outside world!

This report was received from Sue Frasier, a VietNam Era Veteran living in Albany New York. It concerns the VAs' INABILITY to diagnose and treat Gulf War Syndrom illnesses.

A 1996 medical report is available on the
Internet to all veterans confirming from
the medical community, once and for all,
that VA Hospitals around the country have
been misdiagnosing Gulf War Veterans and
veterans with chemical exposure disabilities
as psychiatric cases.

The website is operated, apparently by a
practicing nurse who warehouses numerous
medical reports ranging from Lyme Disease
to Chronic Fatigue, but carries the VA
condemnation report by a Maryland doctor
who specializes in Multiple Chemical Sensitivity
rooted diseases. The report was presented
to the VA Persion Gulf Expert Scientific Committee.

The report is a scathing disclosure on the
incompetencies of the VA medical establishment
by other medical practitioners, and these are
rare to find even with Google searches.

It has been reported that various Veterans groups located in Upstate New York are just plain 'fed-up' with the Veterans Courts System and are planning to take some type of Official action together in order to get things moving with benefits and medical care facilities.
