About Us

Welcome to VA info. Sit a spell and let me tell you what is going on here. First though, it is critical that I tell you what is NOT going on, so then you can figure out for yourself if you want to either stay or start looking elsewhere for what you need.

We are NOT a VA Benefit Counseling service. We are NOT a VA Service Organization like the VWF or DAV, and our responsibilities have nothing to do with Veterans seeking VA Benefits or applying for some disability award. If that is what you need, then you do not need to be here. We cannot help you with anything like that.

We have been created only for those Veterans who are already ENTITLED to their VA Medical Care and Treatment and, while receiving these benefits, have experienced any type of abuse by the system or anyone within it.

Abuse can be verbal, physical, emotional, procedural, administrative, denial or refusal of services or treatment, poor or substandard care, or any other type of abuse that Veterans have suffered while being treated in a VA facility by VA personnel.

This site is for Veterans, their families and even VA employees that have the courage to stand up against abuses they might have witnessed.

What do we do? Well, the first thing we do is display the report you send us on our own incident bulletin board for all other Vets and the world to see. As much detail as you give us, we, in turn, give to others. You tell us, and we tell the world.

Then, after verifying that, in fact, you ARE a real person (and that is the only criteria we look at), we forward the report to various responsible parties with the government. For instance, the Senatorial sub-committee for Veterans Affairs, the VA Inspector Generals' Office, the Director of the VA himself, and any other parties that we know will be forced to take some action once they know that the report has been made public. And made public it will be!

We will do this and we will continue to do this and other things until the abuse that Veterans have long suffered at the hands of the system ends.

We may not be able to terminate employees or fire administrators or get rid of bad Doctors or nurses by ourselves, but we can sure open the blinds on the windows they hide behind and let in some light. And rats do not like light.

We will never identify you by name or number and any personal information you give us about yourself will remain forever CONFIDENTIAL.

We WILL identify all staff member or facilities by name if you provide us that information. We will let the world know what you have told us.

And, we will do it for nothing. FREE. Not a penny. Zip, nada, zilch.

We do it out of our convictions and our hearts because we are Veterans too and we know what we go through just to avail ourselves to what Congress says we are entitled. The only thing we need is YOU and your fingertips.

We need you to tell us by filing an incident report here online, and we need you to tell your friends and other Veterans what we are doing and how to find us. The VA would never tell you about us and they would love to shut us down. They cannot.

This is a totally legitimate Agency providing a totally legitimate service. So use US, please, and use us often, and help us accomplish our mission. Help us help you. Become a reporter with VA Info.org.

With warmest wishes for a healthy and prosperous life,
Ben Gedalia

P.S. Please click on the GUIDELINES page before filing reports just to make certain you understand what we are looking for and what we are not.
